Advanced Mixed Chorus

Four major concerts per year.  Other special concerts scheduled throughout the year.  Advanced musicianship skills in vocal technique and sight-singing are stressed.  Members of this choir are REQUIRED to audition for Regional and Solo and Ensemble Festival.  Ensemble participates in large group festivals and may participate in a Choir Tour.

Welcome to the Advanced Mixed Choir, my home, my haven, my people, and my passion. Nowhere else do I get to perform advanced level music with some of the greatest people I know. Choir has given me opportunities I never thought I'd have and friends I never thought I'd know. Don't just take it from me though; our new freshman Dylan says "No matter how long you've been in choir, you automatically feel welcome." Daniel, our Vice President believes that choir kids are "some of the greatest kids you'll meet in high school.". It's true too. Monica, a senior, says "I have learned some of life's greatest lessons in choir." Jennifer seems to sum up how we all feel though... "It's an amazing experience and I'm so glad to be a part of it" because that's exactly what it is, an experience. Nowhere else do I get to do what I love with the people I love, and I'm so thankful for it. It's a blast.
